HabiStat Crested Gecko Diet is formulated without the addition of artificial colors and flavors, preservatives and fillers. It contains more than 20% real fruit, and 9 major protein sources.
Suitable for all fruit and insectivorous reptiles, including Eyelash Geckos, Rhacodactylus, Phelsuma, many species of geckos, Anoles, Lacertidae, Skink’s and iguanas. Many reptiles are opportunistic (eaters without regard to principles) and eat both animal and fruit & vegetables. Often, captive reptiles are fed with a one-sided diet.
Feeding advice
Take a small but sufficient amount of HabiStat Crested Gecko Diet out of the package and add (lukewarm) water. Mix the supplement into a soft ketchup-like substance. After making, the substance can thicken further (after a few minutes), then add a small amount of water if necessary. It is important that HabiStat Crested Gecko Diet is sufficiently wet/liquid before feeding.
HabiStat Crested Gecko Diet acquires a greenish color, which is released by the ingredient “Spirulina”. At other manufacturers, this ingredient is added in smaller quantities to prevent the green color. Because “Spirilina” is one of the most nutritious raw materials (superfood) we have not cut back on this.
In the HabiStat Crested Gecko Diet , a small amount of vegetable derivative has been added, which makes the mix thicker (gel) and to ensure that the nutrients do not sink to the bottom.
For nocturnal animals, the advice is to feed in the evening. Remove uneaten remains from the terrarium no later than 24 hours later.
