The Exo Terra Infrared Thermometer is a lightweight, pocket-sized thermometer that instantly displays the temperature of a surface or object at the touch of a button. Point the Exo Terra Infrared Thermometer at the desired object and at the touch of a button, the temperature appears on the large, easy-to-read LCD screen. The Infrared Thermometer can be used to determine the temperature of the place where reptiles sunbathe, shelters, wintering places, the incubation substrate but also to measure the body temperature of your reptile or to measure the temperature in the field during excursions.
By holding down the button you can check the temperature gradient; the ambient temperature is measured and shown as long as you hold down the button, once you release the button, the display displays the last measured temperature. A small LED searchlight shows the location and diameter of the measurement. The LED searchlight also allows you to scan hard-to-reach places with low light such as shelters, behind branches, under leaves, etc…
